A midnight stroll into the ocean, the moon’s gold washes over me. Feast on the marrow, innermost secrets, black sea. Suffocating, under my skin. Which way out? I trip, I stumble, and then I am set free.
As simple as a smile, the easiest of gestures. Move from corner to corner. You have yours; I have mine. Similarities, I will trace all the lines, but spin off into distance in spite of all of that.
Bruises on both sides of my head. Warm glow inside of my chest. Body gently humming, the quietest of steps. Foolishly thinking, ruminating, this is my own. I am not alone.
As simple as a smile, the easiest of gestures. Move from corner to corner. You have yours; I have mine. Similarities, I will trace all the lines, but spin off into distance in spite of all of that.
Brush aside the cobwebs and find my corner.
